Resumen del trabajo en sí: "Los autores examinan las contribuciones de John Dewey y Paulo Freire a la filosofía de la educación y la pedagogía transformativa. Argumentan que ambos, John Dewey y Paulo Freire con su atención en epistemología, ética y filosofía política tienen mucho que ofrecer a una pedagogía transformadora y empoderadora en la era del neo-conservadurismo, competición agresiva y globalización deshumanizadora."
