Resumo advindo do próprio trabalho: "O artigo retoma e desenvolve reflexões a propósito de questões examinadas durante seminário internacional sobre a Educação Superior em Paulo Freire. Propõe o estudo do tema no âmbito de uma reflexão mais abrangente sobre as articulações da educação popular e do ensino das elites durante o longo período recoberto pela práxis do educador no Brasil e no exterior."
