Dimensões psicológicas e epistemológicas da obra de Freire

Abstract

Resumo advindo do próprio trabalho: "Antes de falar da obra de Freire, cabe lembrar que tanto a pedagogia, quanto a filosofia e a teologia da libertação, nascem no bojo de um processo histórico de libertação dos povos latino-americanos, cruelmente reprimido pelas ditaduras. A opressão se apresenta, em Freire, sob dimensões psicológicas, antropológicas, ontológicas, econômico-políticas e pedagógicas. No artigo analisam-se as psicológicas, que apresentam estas manifestações: introjeção da figura do opressor, dualidade existencial contraditória (rejeição/identificação), auto-depreciação, inferioridade, submissão, medo da liberdade. Além destes aspectos psicológicos, Freire oferece, para uma psicologia políticosocial, fundamentos epistemológicos, ao propor uma teoria do conhecimento baseada no diálogo com populações subalternas."Summary coming from the work itself: "Before talking about Freire’s work, it should be remembered that pedagogy, as well as philosophy and the theology of liberation are born in the midst of a historical process of liberation of the Latin-American people, cruelly repressed by dictatorships. The oppression is presented in Freire under psychological, anthropological, ontological, economic-political and pedagogical dimensions. In the article the psychological ones are analyzed which present these manifestations: introjections of the figure of the oppressor, contradictory existential duality (rejection/identification), auto-depreciation, inferiority, submission, fear of freedom. In addition to these psychological aspects, Freire offers, for a political-social psychology, epistemological fundamentals, by proposing a theory of knowledge based on the dialogue with subaltern populations."
